SSC GD Constable Vacncy Details
The Staff Selection Commission is going to announce the notification for SSC GD Constable 2018 Examination to recruit applicants for the post of GD Constable in BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, SSF, SSB, NIA and riflemen. The whole recruitment process will be completed in four stages including Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), computer based test and at the last the medical test. Those all applicants who qualify written examination will be eligible for the medical test and those candidates who qualify medical test will be appointed as GD Constable Posts. SSC GD Constable Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications: Candidates who want to apply for GD Constable (BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, SSF, SSB, NIA and riflemen) must have a graduation degree/diploma/10th Pass from a recognised board or educational institute.
A candidate must be either:
- a citizen of India, or
- a subject of Nepal, or
- a subject of Bhutan, or
- a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Physical Standard for GD Constable Exam 2018-
- For Males: 170 cms
- For Females: 157 cms
- For Male: Expanded 80 cms
- Minimum expansion 5 cms
- Proportionate as per the height and medical standard for male and female
SSC GD Constable Age limit
Candidate's age should be between 18 to 23 years. Age relaxation will be applicable as per the as per the government rules for reserved category candidates. The age relaxation will be applicable according to the below-mentioned table. Let's check

SSC GD 2018 Exam will be conducted in three main steps:

The test will be objective type test constituting of 4 sections. 25 questions are to be asked each carrying 1 marks. 0.25 marks will be deducted when a question is attempted wrong.

Mode Of selection
SSC GD Exam is conducted in three phases. If you qualify for all the three phases then you will get posts like Constable General Duty in BSF, SSB, CRPF, NIA, CISF, SSF, ITBP, Rifleman in Assam Rifles. These phases are mentioned below:

A candidate is required to pay Rs. 50/- as application fee for SSC GD 2017 Exam. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category are exempted from paying any application fee.

SSC GD Constable Result
SSC GD 2018 Result will be declared separately for Physical Test/Medical test, Written Test and the Computer Proficiency Test. Candidates can check their result after the exam has been conducted. The dates for the results declaration will be notified soon by Staff Selection Commission of India.
SSC GD Constable Cut Off
The Staff Selection Commission examination department will release SSC Constable GD Cut Off 2018 at the time of result declaration.
