RRB ALP Exam 2018

Railway Recruitment 2018 will be held to recruit candidates to the post of Assistant Loco Pilots and Technicians. Railway Recruitment Board conducts this examination every year giving candidates a golden opportunity to fulfill their dreams of joining the prestigious Government Sector. According to Railway Recruitment Notification 2018, a single application is to be submitted (common to all posts - ALP & Technicians) by all candidates who wish to apply for the mentioned posts.

Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is a government organization in India. It was set up in the Ministry of Railways (Railway Board), New Delhi in 1998. It has many objectives like Formulation of policy in regard to recruitment processes. It is responsible to monitor the activities of RRBs including expense incurred for recruitment. Railway Recruitment Boards is also responsible to manage the joining of new employees for working in Indian railways. There are total 21 boards such as Ahmedabad, Ajmer, Allahabad, Banglore, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Bilaspur, Chandigarh, Chennai, Gorakhpur, Guwahati, Jammu and Kashmir, Kolkata, Malda, Mumbai, Muzaffarpur, Patna, Ranchi, Secunderabad, Siliguri, and Thiruvantha-puram.

RRB ALP Exam Notification

RRB ALP & Technician Notification 2018 has been released 26502 Vacancies by the Railway Recruitment Board of Indian Railways.

Railway Recruitment Notification 2018 was released on 3rd February 2018. According to the Notification released, a total of 26,502 vacancies was declared.

The interested candidates are able to apply online till the last date that is 31st March. Candidates, who are interested and want to be a govt employee in Railway Recruitment Board should first check the eligibility criteria for Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) and Technician Grade III Post to apply online for RRB ALP & Technician Job 2018.

RRB ALP Vacnacy Details

RRB ALP Exam Dates

RRB ALP Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria of Railway Recruitment 2018 exam is mainly about two pre-requisites:

Educational Qualification

ASSISTANT LOCO PILOT

Candidates must have done engineering Degree/ Matriculation / SSLC plus ITI from recognised institutions of NCVT/SCVT in the trades of Armature and Coil Winder / Electrician / Electronics Mechanic / Fitter / Heat Engine / Instrument Mechanic / Machinist / Mechanic Diesel / Mechanic Motor Vehicle / Millwright Maintenance Mechanic / Mechanic Radio & TV / Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Mechanic / Tractor Mechanic / Turner / Wireman. OR Matriculation / SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the trades. OR 3 years Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile Engineering (OR) Combination of various streams of these Engineering disciplines from a recognised Institution in lieu of ITI

TECHNICIAN GRADE III

Matriculation / SSLC plus ITI from recognised institutions of NCVT/SCVT in the trades OR Matriculation / SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the trades

RRB ALP Exam Pattern

Here, we have mentioned the full exam pattern of RRB ALP & Technician 2018 Exam. There shall be negative marking for incorrect answers in First and Second Stage CBT. 1/3rd of the marks allotted for each question shall be deducted for each wrong answer. There shall be no negative marking for Computer Based Aptitude Test.

Mode of Selection

Candidate’s selection will be based on the online examination. If candidates will clear the first phase (Computer-based test) then they will be shortlisted for the next round.

Application Form

Railway Recruitment Board invites Online Application for the post of ALP and Technicians from 3rd February 2018. The Application Process will close on 31st March 2018.

Therefore, candidates are advised to do RRB ALP Technician Online Registration before the last date. Before applying, candidates are advised to first read RRB ALP Technician Recruitment 2018 Notification to check eligibility criteria and other important details.

Application Procedure:

Application Fee

The Online Application for Railway Recruitment starts from 3rd February 2018 and will end on 31st March 2018. Candidates must pay Rs. 500/- as application fee (UR & OBC) for Railway Recruitment 2018. Candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ Ex-Serviceman/ PWDs/ Female/ Transgender/ Minorities/ Economically backward class are required to pay Rs. 250/- as application fee

As per the notification released by Railway Recruitment Board recently, a total of Rs. 400/- will be refunded to candidates belonging to unreserved category who appear in the exam. rs. 250/- will be refunded to candidates belonging to reserved categories if they appear in the exam. The initiative is taken by the Railway Recruitment Board to ensure maximum participation of candidates.

RRB ALP Admit Card

The date of released of admit card for RRB ALP and Technicians post has not been declared by the officials yet. Usually, the RRB ALP Admit card is released before 10-12 days of the examination. The date of release of admit card will be updated here once it is officially released.

RRB ALP Result

The Railway Recruitment Board will conduct ALP Computer based test in after 2 or 3 months of application for submission and Interview and document verification process will be scheduled after 3 or 4 months of exam. Therefore RRB ALP Result 2018 will be declared after 3 to 4 months of CBT exam on the official website.
