SBI PO Exam Eligibility Criteria

Here we have mentioned all Eligibility criteria,whereby Candidates can easily identify that they can fill SBI PO Application Form 2018 or not.

Education Qualification: -Candidate musthave completed graduation degree in any of the streams such as BA, B.Com, BSc, B.Tech, etc., from a University recognized by the Government of India. Candidate who possesses same qualification from the university recognized by the Central Government is also eligible to apply for this exam.

Candidates should have a valid Mark-sheet / Degree:-Certificate which supports that they are graduates on the day they were registered for the exam. The percentage of marks obtained in Graduation should be mentioned at time of registration for the IBPS Bank PO examination.

Computer Literacy:-Knowledge of computer operation is a must as SBI PO exam is conducted online.

Language Proficiency:-Candidates should have verbal and written proficiency in official language of the State/UT. The candidate should be able to read, write and speak the language.

SBI PO Age Limit

All the candidates, who are eligible and want to apply for SBI PO Exam 2018, their age should not be less than 20 years and not more than 30 years. Candidates born between 2nd Aug 1988 to 1st Aug 1998 (inclusive both dates) may apply for the recruitment.

SBI PO Exam Pattern

The SBI PO exam has two phase of written exam: Preliminary exam and main exam.

SBI PO Pre Exam Pattern

For SBI PO Preliminary Exam: Is consisting of three section reasoning, quant, and general awareness. The total marks are 100 and the total duration is one hour. In order to succeed in the prelims, you have to prepare well for all the three sections.

SBI PO Mains Exam Pattern:-Mains exam is the 2nd stage for candidates, which will be conducted online. The IBPS PO Mains exam consists five sections - English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, General Awareness, and Computer Knowledge. Total 200 questions will be asked in the exam and each question will carry 1 mark. The 1/4 mark will be deducted as negative marking for each wrong answer. The examination authority will allow 140 Minutes to solve 200 questions.

SBI PO Interview

The candidates who have qualified the mains exam are called for a face to face interview which carries a maximum of 100 marks. The minimum qualifying marks in the interview is 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates).

Mode Of Selection

The SBI PO Selection Procedure 2018 has four stages: Prelims, Mains, Group discussion, and interview.

Preliminary Examination: The candidate should pass in this preliminary exam in order to get eligible for the main exam.There is minimum cutoff which is decided by the SBI PO authorities.

Main examination: The cutoff is also set for the main exam, you have to get marks more than cut off in order to clear this exam.

Group Discussion: The candidates who are selected in mains are eligible for appearing in Group discussion. Those who got selected in GD will go for the interview process.

Interview:The interview will go to conduct by the sponsoring organization in each state across the country.
